Home colours
A new strip designed by Matchwinner. The subtle use of yellow used in the previous
year had now expanded its hue down the sleeves. Although the programme covers
depict Notts in black socks, white ones were used throughout except when a clash
deemed the black ones neccessary (as was the case in the Wembley play off final),
the white socks had a dual black and yellow hoop, the black shorts had a yellow and
white flash on the right hand side.
The shirt had a button up collar (the first buttons to be seen on a Notts shirt since 1956).
The sponsor was now Home Bitter.
Change colours
Matchwinner designed an all Sky Blue strip with navy trim.
This shirt, like the home kit, had a button up collar which was yellow under the flap. A
yellow and navy flash embellished the shorts and a yellow/navy hoop decorated the socks.
The sponsor on this shirt was McEwans Lager who were the parent company of Nottingham's
Home Ales.
