Home colours
A new era in kit design for Notts, for the first
time on a home shirt the manufacturer's
logo was displayed. Notts had signed a deal with
Adidas
who produced a traditional
design of black & white striped shirts, black
shorts and white socks but all were
decorated with customary Adidas three-stripes
down the sleeves, shorts and eventually
around the socks. The 1974 badge was now
a permanent feature.
Change colours
Black & white photographs reveal Notts wearing a new Adidas
design
with the three
stripe decorations. Yellow shirts and socks, dark shorts (probably
blue), and - as with
the new home kit - a v-neck with collar flaps and the Magpie badge
(also in blue).
